Chesapeake Hospitality Develops New Position To Invest In Company Culture

GREENBELT, MD–-Chesapeake Hospitality, a dynamic third-party hotel management company, announced today that Jane McCaul has been promoted to be the company’s first director of corporate culture & communication. Kim Sims, president of Chesapeake Hospitality, made the announcement.

In her new role, McCaul will drive key internal communications related initiatives, including the company’s charitable efforts, as well as create, deliver and execute programs all focused on the company’s culture.

“Our incredible employees and strong culture serve as the foundation for delivering exceptional service to our guests,” said Sims. “As we continue to identify creative ways to keep our culture thriving and employees highly engaged, empowering Jane with this critical role speaks to our laser focus on creating a workplace that fosters constant self-improvement and increases efficiency through transparent communication. McCaul has been with Chesapeake Hospitality since 2011. Most recently serving as area general manager and director of charitable efforts at the company’s Hackerman-Patz Houses at the University of Maryland Rehabilitation & Orthopaedic Institute and University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center.
